The Board of Trustees is responsible for agreeing and setting HLT policies which apply to all schools within the Healthy Learning Trust and must be adhered to by all employees and learners as applicable. The Purpose of having HLT policies is to ensure consistency of provision and delivery across the organization to ensure fairness and equity. All HLT policies take account of our statutory duties and responsibilities and their implementation and efficacy monitored by trustees to ensure compliance and consistency.
Each policy is designed to support the Trust in delivering its aims as stated in the HLT MISSION STATEMENT on the front cover of every policy.
HLT policies are deliberately concise and easy to understand and implement.
All HR Policies apply to all HLT schools as HLT is the employer.
Beyond HR policies each school will have policies in line with their agreed Scheme of Delegation.
